transformer for the environmental protection. It is applicable to load center where requires more in fireproofing
and security, such as airport, metro, power plant, metallurgy plant, hospital, high building, shopping center,
residential area, etc.
Dry type transformers are widely used in local lighting, high-rise buildings, airports, docks, CNC mechanical
equipment, and other places. Simply put, dry type transformers refer to transformers whose iron cores and
windings are not immersed in insulating oil.
The cooling methods are divided into natural air cooling (AN) and forced air cooling (AF). During natural air
cooling, the transformer can operate continuously for a long time at its rated capacity. When forced air cooling is
applied, the output capacity of the transformer can be increased by 50%. Suitable for intermittent overload
operation or emergency accident overload operation; Due to the significant increase in load loss and impedance
voltage during overload, it should not be operated continuously for a long time in a non economic state.
Immersion type dry-type transformers are usually made by impregnating the winding with high-temperature
resistant insulation paint and heating and drying it. According to the needs, different heat-resistant insulation
materials can be selected to be made into B-grade, E-grade, F-grade, H-grade, etc. For example, using NOMEX
insulation material from DuPont in the United States as turn insulation (imported American technology, the coil
surface is generally white), Open type dry-type transformers using VPI (vacuum, pressure impregnation)
insulation treatment process or using glass fiber wrapped wire as turn insulation (imported from Germany, with
darker coil surface color)., The latter adopts VI (vacuum impregnation - no pressure process) insulation
treatment process.

1. Environmental protection:
High quality H grade insulation material is used the product, there is no emission of hazardous gases under
high temperature.
Owing to the opening winding, it is convenient to take copper back for recycling after the service life.
2. Reliable insulation system:
NOMEX paper and ET-90 series H grade resin is chosen as basic insulation system, optimized design makes
insulation system 180 degrees centigrade - 220 degrees centigrade, which is safe, steady and reliable under
high temperature.
3. Advanced processing technology:
Adopting VPI technology and curing process under the high temperature, the lacquer film is bright and even, no
cracking, the partial discharge is less than 5PC, with low noise.
4. Overload capacity:
H grade Nomex paper is used for insulation of winding in opening structure. Its dissipation of heat is faster and
temperature rise is even, which shows higher overload capability.
5. Stronger withstanding short-circuit capability:
VPI process is carried out for H. V. &L. V. Coils and pre-pressing device such as disc spring and silicon rubber
is put on the end of coils to strengthen the mechanical strength for both coils and product, which improves its
withstanding short-circuit capability.
6. Weatherproof:
The whole product is coated with H grade insulation lacquer twice. Lacquer film has the good adhesion,
mechanical strength and insulation performance without cracking. Therefore, it is weatherproof such as
moisture, fog and dust, particularly in serious pollution.
