Overview
ZF-252 Gas Insulated Metal-Enclosed Switchgear (hereinafter referred as GIS) is applicable for the electrical system with features of three phases
AC, 50Hz, and rated voltage of 252KV.
The GIS meets the relative requirements of national standard - GB7674-2008 and international standard IEC60517-1990.
All the components inside the GIS conform to the corresponding national standard.

Main features
1.Spring mechanism/motor mechanism are adopted to avoid oil and gas to realize simple constrution, easy maintenance and realiable operation.
2.Enclosure is made of aluminium alloy to ensure light weight, low temperature-rise and strong anticorrosion.
3.Double sealing systems are adopted to guarantee high reliability in gas tightness and ensure minimum annual gas leakage.
4.GIS will be delivered as a whole without dismantle to reduce site installation and maintenance works.
5.Safety
Two measures are taken to ensure safety of operation personnel
Rupture disc is installed on every gas compartment to avoid explosion in over-pressure state.
Activating pressure of rupture disc on circuit breaker compartment: 1± 0.06MPa
Activating pressure of rupture disc on other compartments: 0.7± 0.04MPa
Destructive pressure that enclosure can withstand for circuit breaker compartment: 2.3MPa
Destructive pressure that enclosure can withstand for other compartments: 1.6MPa
6.Good insulating ability
Insulating barrier is made on production line imported form Hubers Company, Germany. The whole manufacturing process from mixture of fillings to
molding are finished in totally sealed and homoiothermal workshop to avoid occurance of air bubble inside insulating barrier. After being kept in
heating stove for more than 16 hours, insulating barrier will be conducted X-ray non-destructive test, mechanical test,power frequency withstand test
and partial discharge test, then it will be sealing packed and delivered to GIS assembly workshop.
7.Good conducting ability
Aluminum alloy conductors are coated with silver up to 24μm to reduce resistance as small as possible.
8.High current carrying performance
Copper with silver coat of strong adhesiveness is applied to ensure good current carrying performance and guarantee a long-term service.
9.View window
View windows are installed on GIS main components to observe service state inside GIS.
10. The circuit breaker is arranged horizontally, and the arc extinguishing chamber adopts a single break double action structure. The self energy arc extinguishing principle is equipped with a low-power spring operating mechanism, which effectively reduces mechanical stress, has high reliability, and has a mechanical life of 10000 times.
12. Adopting a three position isolation grounding switch structure, mechanical interlocking between isolation and grounding effectively avoids misoperation, with high reliability and a mechanical lifespan of 10000 times.
13. The three station isolation grounding switch and main busbar adopt a three-phase common box structure. The reduction of SF6 gas sealing and bonding surfaces reduces the probability of gas leakage; The three position isolation grounding switch has a simple structure and excellent corrosion resistance due to the absence of complex external connecting rods and fittings.
14. SF6 gas has a low rated pressure. Except for circuit breakers, all other gas chambers have a rated gas pressure of 0.4MPa, greatly reducing the amount of SF6 gas used and mitigating the greenhouse effect.
